Profile:
Dr Mojtaba Ranjbar has received his PhD from Department of Electrical and Commuter Engineering at National University of Singapore in 2012. Through the years of training and hard work at the Data Storage Institute, National University of Singapore, University of Gothenburg, University of California Riverside and Nanyang Technological University, Dr. Ranjbar has accumulated extensive knowledge and hands-on experiences in spintronic materials and devices. Dr. Ranjbar has been involved in the field of magnetism with research topics ranging from amorphous magnetic alloys for energy applications, permanent magnetic materials to thin films and nanostructures for recording and spintronics applications. His current interest lies in the inter-dsciplinary areas of magnetism, electronics and nanotechnology. He has more than 40 papers by 2016 in top ranked journals
